I designed t-shirts to celebrate the return of the Eastern Quoll to the mainland of Australia for Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary and Mt Rothwell Biodiversity Centre (a project pioneered by the Australian National University, Woodlands and Wetlands Trust, ACT Government and Mt Rothwell).
I worked with artist Clare Jackson at Megalo Print Studio to screen print 50 limited edition t-shirts covered in furry quoll spots. These shirts were loved by the community and even bought by local ministers.
Wearable art spreads a message in a powerful way, encouraging expression of identity and creeping into everyday conversation.
